People living with pancreatic exocrine insufficiency (PEI) may be at increased risk of maldigestion and malabsorption,1,2 and therefore require additional attention to gastrointestinal problems, diet and nutrition.1,3,4 The goal of PEI treatment is to normalise digestion, alleviate PEI-related symptoms and prevent malnutrition-related complications.1,5
